Ezri is my oldest kitty.  I got her during veterinary school.  She helped me keep my sanity during the sleepless study marathons.  She is always drawn to whistling, and will 'meow' along to some tunes.  She is very tolerant with me, including Halloweens when she gets to wear her pumpkin costume.

Graduated with honors with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.  I have been working at Plum Creek since June 2001.  My favorite animal is the cat, though my heart melts whenever I get a friendly greeting from a puppy.

I have 4 cats, one that came with my husband when I get married in September of 2007.

Moneypenny is another kitty I adopted during veterinary school.  I was on my senior ophthalmology rotation when she was brought in as a stray.  Her eye was damaged and needed removal.  She was my first eye surgery.  She lives a great life and doesn't even know she is missing her left eye – she can jump, twist around, and catch toys mid-air.

I adopted Hermione in 2003 as a stray kitten.  One of my canine patients had found her, and in the process she had broken her hip.  I gave her some TLC, and she melted my heart.  I knew I was a goner as soon as Dr. Morris asked me when I was taking her home.  Her hip healed, however a few years later she started having seizures.  I took her to see Dr. Barnes at VCA Aurora for an MRI and CSF tap.  She was diagnosed with epilepsy and has been on medication since to control the seizures.  Hermione has a bit of a crazy personality but she is adorable.  She loves her medicine and comes running to me whenever I shake her pill bottle.

Sarah is my step-kitty that joined my three when I married her father.  She finally warmed up to me, though she definitely had the jealous girlfriend act down pat when I first started dating Charles.  She even started sitting on an area of her dad's desk she had never shown any interest in before, however this time my picture happened to be placed right behind where she sat.  Her large stature did a good job of blocking my image from her dad.
